Многие сервисы в таком мире реализованы в виде агентов, которые перемещаются и взаимодействуют как со средой виртуального мира (иногда даже изменяя её), так и с пользователями внутри и вне системы. Пользователи могут заходить в виртуальный мир и действовать в нём в виде агентов или аватаров (avatar). = VRв компьютерной графике - сложные системы моделирования псевдофизической реальности (существующей или выдуманной), формирующие у пользователя иллюзию действия в некотором пространстве, например в трёхмерных визуальных "мирах". Моделирование выполняется с помощью мощного компьютера и таких аксессуаров, как стереоскопические очки, сенсорные перчатки, шлем.
